SABIC’S SUPPLY PROBLEM:
Full implementation of the new Sabic global Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system began in October 2016.
The new system has caused massive scheduling problems with huge delays on material deliveries and uncertainty as to availability dates. Although almost six months have elapsed we see no immediate prospect of a resolution of these issues, so we have taken our own steps to alleviate the problems for our customers. We are using our global sourcing contacts to gain access to material stocks not previously available.
