On the 12th May, the first of our planned customer events for 2023 took place at the Shelsley Walsh Hill Climb.
What is a Members Day?
The Members’ Day is a great opportunity to experience the hill in a relaxed, controlled and fun atmosphere. Guests are invited to drive their own cars on the world famous Shelsley Walsh track, during a day of non-competitive runs. Over 100 cars took part ranging from a 1930’s Morgan 3 wheeler, classic cars from the 50’s to 80’s, through to modern day Porsche’s, Lotus’ and a Lamborghini.
Who attended with Cadillac?
Cadillac General Manager, Simon Jones, took to the hill in his track ready MX5 Turbo.
Alistair Kennedy (Cadillac Director) drove his 1959 MGA Twin cam, which was driven from home and back with the hood down.
Tony and Liz Burd (https://www.rhti.co.uk/) brought along a very nice example of a 1975 Dolomite Sprint. Tony has lovingly restored this car over many years and relished the opportunity to blast it up the hill.
John and Louise Wills (https://www.willprints.co.uk/) previously bought along their 1933 Morgan 3 wheeler. Unfortunately, the Morgan needed some work so they attended as passengers this time and took turns in the other cars.

The 2023 British Hill Climb Championship comes to Shelsley Walsh with the fastest hill climb cars, arguably in the world, all gunning for points and glory. Held on: 3rd June 2023
CLASSIC NOSTALGIA (Celebrating the Glory Days of Motorsport)
Shelsley’s Classic Nostalgia weekend is a highlight in the UK’s motorsport calendar with the very best racing cars, vintage specials, garden party atmosphere and track action with Rally cars and… just cool cars from all eras as anything goes! A relaxed meeting with lots going on away from the track too. Held on: 22nd July 2023
CHAMPIONSHIP CHALLENGE (British Hillclimb Championship Round)
A great weekend of non-stop action with an Inter Club meeting taking place. This is the last Shelsley Walsh meeting of the British Championship, so expect some of the fastest times yet. Held on: 12th August 2023
MEMBERS DAY (Late Season)
The Members’ Day is a great opportunity to experience the hill in a relaxed, controlled, and fun atmosphere. You drive your own road-legal car up the famous Shelsley Walsh track, during a day full of non-competitive runs. Any road-legal cars can participate, from classic sports cars to modern day saloons. Held on: 29th September 2023 *This is a very popular event so register your interest early.
