Cadillac Plastic Packaging and Carriage Policy – Effective 1st September 2023
 
Summary Statement:
Minimum order value of £75 (material only, not including carriage)
UK Mainland: Carriage Costs £24 for orders under £250* / over £250 carriage is free of charge*
Export, plus Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Northern Ireland: Ex-works (EXW)

*Additional charges may apply for oversize pallets and specific Postcodes

Policy
1) Minimum Order Value:  £75
This is the minimum order value for materials, excluding carriage, VAT, etc.
 
2) Standard Carriage:      

Carriage costs of £24 apply to orders under £250.
Carriage is free of charge for orders above £250.
 
3) Additional Carriage Costs:
Additional carriage costs may be applied to orders of any value. 
i)  Oversize Pallets and Cartons:  Pallets and packages up to 1200 x 1200mm will be included within standard carriage. 
Oversize pallets and packages of up to 1200 x 2400mm will be subject to a £65 surcharge.
Oversize pallets and packages of >1200 x >2400mm will be POA.
ii)  Geographical Carriage Costs:
Standard carriage costs apply to UK mainland only.
Export, Channel Islands, Isle of Man, other offshore and Northern Ireland are Ex-Works (EXW).
Additional carriage costs may be applied to specific Postcodes with higher carriage rates such as Scottish Highlands, Scottish Islands, ULEZ zones, etc.
 
4) Packaging:
Materials will be packaged and despatched in boxes or on pallets, as determined by material size, weight and type.
Multiple order lines may be combined within the same box where quantities are below standard pack quantities.  In these cases, products will be individually shrink wrapped and labelled.
 
5) Carriage Service:
Orders will be despatched using standard ‘next day’, ‘signed for’ delivery where possible, using third party couriers.  Note that a ‘next day’ service is not available to all geographical areas.
Cadillac Plastic cannot guarantee delivery performance and will not be responsible for losses or costs incurred due to late deliveries.
Premium carriage, e.g. Pre-Midday, Pre-9.00am or dedicated delivery can be requested, but will incur additional charges.  Premium services are dependent on courier availability and capacity.
 
6) Damage in Transit:
Any damage must be reported within 24 Hours.
Cadillac Plastic will not be responsible for goods damaged in transit.  All claims will be through the courier, who’s terms and conditions will apply.
All deliveries should be inspected and signed for on receipt.
If deliveries are not signed for, it is not possible for Cadillac Plastic to pursue any claims for damage to material with the courier.
If a delivery is received with damage to outer packaging, it should be signed for as ‘Received Damaged”.  If the material is subsequently found to be damaged, Cadillac Plastic will be able to pursue a claim with the courier.  It will not be possible to pursue a claim if the material is signed for and the damage is not recorded at the point of receipt.
